LISA Robertson, made famous by a mile-high tryst with actor Ralph Fiennes, has been ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.

Lisa Robertson, 41, pleaded guilty to concealing the money from bankruptcy proceedings after she told the Nine Network of her affair with the famous actor aboard a flight from Darwin to Mumbai in 2007.

The Melbourne Magistrates' Court was today told Robertson's encounter with Fiennes gained her notoriety.

"But since that time your life has spiralled downwards," magistrate Phillip Goldberg told her during the court hearing.

Robertson, a former NSW police officer and airline stewardess started abusing alcohol after the affair and was now a pensioner on benefits, he said.

She admitted to hiding her earnings, gained from telling her story, from a continuing bankruptcy proceeding against her.
