One of the other violations is having drug paraphernalia in your possession. Records show that Gentry was taken to the Cherokee County Jail in northeast Alabama and released after 30 minutes.
He was taken into custody around 10:38 in the morning and released at 11:06, according to WHNT. The bond’s value is still a mystery. The band’s spokesperson, Don Murry Grubbs, was aware of the circumstance but chose not to comment.

Many Alabama songs, including How, Do I Fall in Love, Why Lady Why, Give Me One More Shot, Fallin’ Again, Sad Lookin’ Moon, and others, were co-written by Teddy Gentry. He and his colleagues were admitted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in November 2005.
