Nick Bollettieri was an American tennis coach. He participated in the development of many leading players, including Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, Monica Seles, and Mary Pierce. He pioneered the concept of a tennis boarding school.
Nick was the son of Mary Rita (De Filippo) and James Thomas Bollettieri. His parents were born in New York, both of them to Italian immigrants. He was married to Cindi Eaton, until his death. He had seven children.
