I loved the fashion this year (Natalie Portman’s dress was my fav), but like many of you, I thought the host was terrible and a lot of the presenter skits fell flat. I try to be nice, though, and have a general rule to not blame the presenter for bad material if they’re really trying to sell it. One of the biggest beauty moments from the night may have been Lady Gaga's Met Gala eyelashes, and not just because they were spiky and gold and camp AF. Turns out, Gaga's eyelashes were so heavy that her makeup artist Sarah Tanno had to use face tape to keep the singer and actor's eyes open.

Rod Thomas, aka Bright Light Bright Light, has released a video for his Sir Elton John collaboration, ‘Running Back To You’. The track, the third collaboration between the pair, is taken from Rod’s album Choreography which was released last year. The music video, art directed by Del Marquis (Scissor Sisters) and directed by Santiago Felipe (Björk’s live photographer) and Rod, is a visual treat. Choreographed by award-winning Steven Hoggett (Harry Potter & The Cursed Child, Once), the video powerfully portrays the emotion of the song lyrics using contemporary dance.
